The Vienna EM "Stammtisch" (gathering) is an informal meeting of electron microscopists from Vienna and its vicinity organised by Guenter Resch from Nexperion since 2010, with a longer break because of Covid-19. It is open to everyone from the community, including microscopists from academia and industry, students and researchers, as well as company representatives.
Each time, the Stammtisch takes place at a different location, usually the on last Thursday in February, May, August, and November, unless there is a major EM-related event or a holiday, at 7 p.m:
